DESCRIPTION: A fun day at the lake and a fundraiser for PugFair (Ohio Pug Rescue). All well-behaved dogs up to date on vaccinations are welcome. Please bring your favorite store-bought fried/grilled chicken and a covered side/dessert dish to share. We will provide bread, cold drinks, and picnic supplies. Donation: $5 per adult, $3 per child 6-14; children under 6 free; pay at the park upon entry to our beach area and get your hand stamped.

Animal Adoption Foundation Annual Yard Sale

DESCRIPTION: There are sure to be hundreds of treasures just waiting to be stumbled upon at this years' sale. The sale will take place rain or shine so please come out and support the AAF. We are now accepting donations for the yard sale so if you are doing any Spring cleaning or simply want to help our animals and would like to donate your used items for the sale, you can drop them off at the shelter any time. There are two storage pods located in the shelter parking lot in which all items can be placed. All proceeds from the yard sale benefit the homeless pets at the AAF.

DESCRIPTION: PetQuest is an annual tradeshow aimed at professional groomers. The four day event, including workshops, seminars and speakers, is expensive at $399.00 for the entire event. However, accompanying the tradeshow is an extensive vendors area where vendors sell nearly any tool, clipper, grooming table, dryers, shampoos, conditioners and other gadgets that a responsible pet owner would need. Access to the vendors area costs $10.00 per day. Grooming equipment prices were quite reasonable and in many cases, vendors offered two-for-the-price-of-one or other special deals. Last year, a grooming demonstration on 5 different dog breeds was also held in the vendor's area.
