Sigmund Freud used his Chow Chow Jo-Fi as a therapy dog. Jo-Fi was present at every therapy session. Freud believed that the presence of a dog had a calming effect on patients, especially children. He also believed that dogs had a special sense and could judge a person's character and emotional state accurately.
